Pioneer Park Pathways Project

This project will construct a loop of ADA compliant sidewalks connecting the historic cabins within Pioneer Park. These pathways will allow visitors to travel between the cabins with greater ease, especially during wet weather.

The sidewalks will be stamped concrete, with coloring and design to imitate a wooden boardwalk.

Thanks to the efforts of Reps. Luanne Van Werven, Vincent Buys and Sen. Doug Ericksen, the City received a grant from the Washington State Department of Commerce for $165,000 to support this project.

Construction is anticipated to begin summer of 2018.

This project will be jointly bid with the Cherry Street Sidewalk Project. Bid documents for both projects are available below and on the Cherry Street Sidewalk Project page.
