City Offices will be closed on Friday, November 10, 2023 in honor of Veterans Day.
A major change is coming to the intersection at Thornton St. and Malloy Ave. Starting next week, the stop signs at the intersection will be switched so that north and southbound traffic on Malloy Ave. must stop while traffic on Thornton St. will be free flowing. Drivers are urged to use caution as everyone adjusts to the changes. Flashing stop signs will be installed to heighten visibility of the revision.
This is the first of several changes planned for area traffic. This traffic revision is being implemented ahead of the opening of the new overpass to allow drivers to adjust to the new traffic pattern.
