Douglas Well #2 Drilling Contract
A request for bid is now available for the proposed drilling, installation, development, and testing of the City of Ferndale’s new Douglas Road Well #2. The proposed well will be drilled using either cable tool or flooded reverse-circulation rotary drilling methods to an estimated depth of 1,300 feet with an anticipated final pump chamber casing diameter of 12-inches (to a depth of 650 feet minimum). In addition, the well is to include 30-feet (min.) of telescopic screen per specifications. Well testing will include both step-rate and constant-rate pumping tests at pumping rates up to 1,200 gallons per minute.
Sealed bids will be received from contractors by the Public Works Director, City of Ferndale, 2095 Main Street, P.O. Box 936, Ferndale, WA 98248 until 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 17th, 2024 for the Ferndale Douglas Well #2 – Drilling Contract. All bids shall be received in sealed envelopes with “FERNDALE DOUGLAS WELL #2 – DRILLING CONTRACT” marked plainly thereon.
Bidders and other properly interested parties are invited to be present at the bid opening. Bids received after the time fixed for opening cannot be considered. Only bids from bidders who have obtained the Contract Documents and have requested to be listed on the Planholders’ List, will be accepted.
