Exit 262 Corridor Planning

The City of Ferndale finalized a major planning process for future retail development in the area around I-5 Exit 262 in early 2012.

The community has said it would like new development in the area, and your City worked to determine the best, most responsible way for that growth to occur.

The Final Environmental Impact Statement, also called the Master Plan for the Main St./Axton Way-Interstate 5 Corridor, serves as the guiding document for future development and spells out what is required to ensure that community members can still get where they need to go on our roads and what environmental protections must be included when new development occurs in that area.
