Malloy Avenue will continue to be closed to all traffic between Calico Loop and Willow Court on Thursday, June 24 and Friday, June 25. During the closure, northbound thru-traffic will be detoured at Thornton Street and onto Vista Drive and Aldergrove Road. Southbound thru-traffic will be detoured at Aldergrove Road and onto Vista Drive and Thornton Street. Local traffic will be permitted past barriers at Thornton Street and Aldergrove Road, but no traffic will be allowed through the closure area. Details are shown on the attached map.
This closure extension is necessary to repair a preexisting problem that was discovered while doing work on the City’s sanitary sewer system in association with the Pump Station 19 Decommissioning Project.
