Ziply Fiber-Optic Expansion Throughout the City

Some of you may be aware that Ziply Fiber is in the process of expanding their residential fiber-optic network within the community. The City of Ferndale has issued several encroachment permits to Ziply Fiber for work within the right-of-way. However, the majority of the utility work is anticipated to be taking place within existing utility easements that are located along the street frontage of properties within the community. If you would like to view your property’s plat for the standard easement provision, you can do so by viewing Maps and GIS on the City of Ferndale’s Homepage. Click here for a video with step-by-step instructions on how to locate your property on the GIS system.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding Ziply’s work, you may contact their customer service voicemail line which is monitored locally during regular business hours at (855) 950-0779, fill out their Construction Feedback Form at ziplyfiber.com/construction-feedback or email construction.quality@ziply.com, newfiber@ziplyfiber.com, or executives@ziply.com.
