Some of you may be aware that Ziply Fiber is in the process of expanding their residential fiber-optic network within the community. The City of Ferndale has issued several encroachment permits to Ziply Fiber for work within the right-of-way. However, the majority of the utility work is anticipated to be taking place within existing utility easements that are located along the street frontage of properties within the community. If you would like to view your property’s plat for the standard easement provision, you can do so by viewing Maps and GIS on the City of Ferndale’s Homepage.
